Building the entrepreneurship ecosystem
Business incubation, startup support and industry–academia collaboration at Boston International College and beyond.
Overview
Alongside teaching and research, I work on the practical side of Nepal’s entrepreneurship ecosystem: helping students turn ideas into ventures, and helping institutions build programs that support them.
For five years I was Assistant Director of BIC Startups, the business incubation program of Boston International College, where I oversaw planning, training, seed-fund disbursement and program documentation. As focal person for the college’s Industry Connect program, I built links between students, local industry and government. I also trained as an incubator manager through Skill Lab’s Incubating the Incubators Training of Trainers program and took part in the Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Bangkok.
